A meditative clay workshop with live music
In this special ceramics session, you’ll explore creativity through intuition, touch, and sound with Mexican artist and musician Javier Bautista. This is not about following instructions or reaching perfection — it’s about creating from within. Guided by live music, meditation, and the feel of the clay in your hands, you’ll craft a cup, small vase or bowl.

Guided by artist Javier Bautista, you’ll be welcomed into our cosy studio, lit by candles and live meditative music. While everyone gets comfortable, you will see three simple clay pieces: a bowl, a cup, and a vase — just as inspiration.
Javier will then guide a meditation, paired with live music and sound to help you relax, slow down, and connect with your body.
With your eyes closed, you’ll begin shaping clay purely through touch and feeling. Three different types of clay will be available, which you can mix and experiment with.
Once the meditation ends, you’ll open your eyes and refine your piece using tools and gentle guidance if needed.
There’s no pressure to make something “beautiful” or functional — what you create will be a reflection of your own process and expression.
Javier Bautista
Javier is a Mexican artist and creator whose work is rooted in shamanism, healing, and spiritual service. His art is deeply connected to sound, music, and the language of movement and form. At the heart of his practice is the intention to infuse objects with life, meaning, and power — approaching each creation with the same awareness and responsibility one might offer to a child.
He believes that your life is a reflection of your mind — a living, breathing creation shaped by your perception and actions. Through his work, Javier guides others in expanding their perceptual boundaries and learning how to consciously shape their lives through everyday rituals and acts of creation.
