Open Call

Open call: two learning internships at Hola Lola Studio
Apply before 22 November 2026

We’re offering two learning internships in our ceramics studio in Utrecht, one in Marketing & Growth and one in Content Creation. They are for someone who wants hands-on practice in digital marketing or visual storytelling, guided by people who do it every day.

This is a learning internship, not a job. You’ll learn by working on real projects with support. You’ll get a learning plan with goals we agree on together, a weekly team meeting, and time each week for your own ceramic practice. You’ll be part of a small, international team.

No ceramics experience needed. We do ask for some experience in your field, which you can show us with links in your application.

Apply now!

Apply before 22 November through our application form (about 20 minutes).

Have this ready:
Marketing & Growth: links to accounts you’ve posted for, plus a short answer to a mini case about our Instagram
Content Creation: a link to your portfolio or account, plus 2–3 pieces you shot and edited yourself

Applying for both? You can, in the same form.
By 6 December we’ll let everyone know whether they’re invited for an interview.

Interviews on 14 & 16 December, in person or by video call.

Final decision by 27 December.

You can apply to the following roles:

📸 Content Creation
What you’ll learn and practice:

  • Planning, shooting and editing photo and video for Instagram and TikTok
  • Turning studio life, workshops and makers into stories
  • Developing content concepts, from idea to finished post
  • Assisting on shoots and finding your own visual voice
  • Helping out during workshops and studio days

You bring:
a portfolio or account with content you shot and edited yourself, basic editing skills (e.g. CapCut, Lightroom, Premiere, Canva), and your own ideas.

📈 Marketing & Growth
What you’ll learn and practice:

  • Setting up and evaluating small Meta ad campaigns, with guidance from our marketing professional
  • Reading Instagram and TikTok insights and turning them into decisions
  • Planning and scheduling posts and stories in Meta Business Suite
  • Keeping our Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest active and growing
  • Helping out during workshops and studio days

You bring:
experience posting for one or more accounts (personal, student, club or business all count), comfort with numbers, and curiosity about why some content works and some doesn’t. A marketing or communication study background is a plus.

Our previous interns

Meet Clara

“Working at Hola Lola has been such a special experience for me 🤍

When I started my internship, I had very little experience with social media marketing and wasn’t even sure what to expect. Over the past few months, I’ve learned so much about creating content, planning campaigns, storytelling, and finding ways to bring a creative community to life online.

But what made this internship even more special was everything beyond social media. I got to be part of workshops and events, meet so many lovely people, and experience the studio from the inside. And, of course, I got to fall in love with ceramics along the way!

I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of the Hola Lola community!”

Meet Ece

“I had the opportunity to grow and improve my skills in so many ways, especially in marketing, I met so many new people, stalked you around the studio and took photos while you were busy with your amazing craft, and last but not least, got my own hands dirty making my new favorite mugs! (even though the wheel and I had our differences…)

Thank you to everyone at Hola Lola Studio for making the studio feel like such a special community. I had the loveliest time.

Keep being creative”
